The Pure Romance Family

As the year comes to a close, I want to thank my staff and Consultants for all of their dedication and hard work in 2009. We are so blessed to have had a prosperous year at Pure Romance. Despite our success, we did endure our own personal losses including losing a long-time employee who had been with the company for five years – our hearts and thoughts go out to her family and loved ones. There have been many people in our company who, whether it was they or someone they loved, suffered an illness – yet, everyone stepped up and supported one another in those trying times.

All companies have their trials and tribulations, but one thing that is wonderful about Pure Romance is we are truly a family. No matter how much we have our ups and downs, we’re there for one another and work to lift each other up.
Perhaps my favorite part of Pure Romance is that it’s truly not just about one person. It’s about every single department from the Customer Service, Warehouse, Accounting, Marketing, PR, IT, Health Education, Business Development. It’s the whole that is greater than its parts. Everyone is working toward the greater goal of building a reputation that is as good as the company it stands for.

Many are aware of the awards we have received this year – and I think it’s so important to stress the word “we”. Even when I have been awarded directly, I know that none of this recognition would be possible without every single person that works at this company. If it was up to me, I wish I could have the entire staff and Consultant base present at every award ceremony because it is truly their award as much as it is mine.

I am truly so thankful for such a wonderful team who shares my passion, vision and drive, and look forward to providing more opportunities in the years to come. I know that with such an amazing staff we can go further than we’ve ever gone before. We wish all a wonderful holiday season and look forward to a Happy New Year!

    Patty-

We’ve never met-but someday I’m hoping to remedy that!!! I am currently a college student and in need of advice. I have changed my major about 6 times and I’ve only just now finished my second year of college. I have held about 2-3 jobs since this past January, due to career searching. I have always know that my lifetime career and passion would be something out of the ordinary, but I seem to keep searching for it and always find my bucket empty. This past week I attended a Pure Romance Party for the first time!!!! I was completely blown away and amazed. After everyone had ordered I went back and talked with the consultant about the company and if she was a full time consultant and how she liked it. Since then I have been thinking and pondering, and I think this company is for me, I think ultimately I’m just scared of stepping out on this branch and falling. It’s just me and my husband and he does construction work-which is not stable enough to raise a family on where we live, so that is why I am working on getting my Biology degree, so that we may have a better life to raise a family. The problem I’m facing though is that I *dread* *absolutely dread* working a 9-5 job in something I am not completely in love with!!! I guess what I’m really trying to ask is… “Can I really succeed and make a living through this company to better myself and my family and the lives of others?”. “Is this really something that if I give it all of myself-quit my job, dedicate the time and money-can I really make a difference and be happy about going to work instead of wanting to breakdown and cry because I have to leave my husband for another grueling round in a 10-12 hour shift dealing with people who just want to con you out of everything they can?” I’m sorry this comment is so long. I think I’m just looking for assurance that this is possible and can work because it seems TO GOOD TO BE TRUE!!!

      Danielle,
We have thousands of Consultants who are succeeding at running successful Pure Romance businesses and taking care of their families – without having to take a 9-5 office job. The key to success, however, is in the commitment. These women are committing to learning as much as they can about the product, sexual health and the business aspect of Pure Romance. They are willing to put in the time to promote their businesses and are so passionate about what they do that it is often contagious. By the sound of your excitement after attending your first party, you have a very good foundation for being a successful Consultant. It can be scary to try something new – believe me, I was nervous myself when I first started as a Consultant over 25 years ago, but you will never know your potential unless you give it a try.

We hope to have you on board one day with Pure Romance. I can honestly say that the Consultant camaraderie and support truly lends itself to creating a family business mentality.

      Best of luck!

      Patty
