ACG Cincinnati Luncheon

I had the wonderful opportunity to speak alongside Pure Romance President Chris Cicchinelli to a group of about 200 business professionals from the tri-state area today. I was amazed to discover that the event had sold out and it was a true testament to how far we have come with Pure Romance. It has been a long road since I launched my company in 1993, and I feel so grateful that we have been embraced by our community; needless to say, sexuality continues to be a stigmatized topic, especially in a conservative town like Cincinnati. Yet, I am proud to say that many business people in the community are stepping forward to support Pure Romance, primarily because they understand what our company mission is really all about.

One gentleman approached me after the presentation and pointed out that the company’s history had resonated with him in particular because he could see the passion engrained in our company to educate and help women regardless of how financially successful Pure Romance is, or will be. It was truly rewarding to know that there were so many people in that audience who were able to take away this important message about our company.
