Our Busiest Time of Year

With February just around the corner Pure Romance is experiencing by far one of its busiest times of the year! Although it’s often hard to keep my hectic schedule straight, I love this time because I know our Consultants are in a flurry of excitement as they continue to grow their businesses.

This past week, I had the pleasure of doing a live phone-in radio interview with Mojo in the Morning at WKQI in Detroit. For those of you who had the opportunity to tune in and listen, I gave some of my top tips for celebrating Valentine’s Day on a budget. After all, the recession isn’t completely behind us and if anything it has forced couples to get back to basics and focus on what this holiday is really about – showing how much you love one another. I have several radio interviews scheduled over the next few weeks through February 14th and I will try to do my best to alert them to you in advance.

As I mentioned in an earlier blog, we are also excited about our one-hour special which will be airing this Sunday on TLC at 10pm. If you happen to miss the first showing TLC has listed following airing times on their website. I hope all of you will tune in to and get an educated and entertaining look at some of the lively people behind our company.

I’m looking forward to hearing from you and you are my inspiration thanks for taking the time to listen. I think that you and your company are doing an amazing job.

      Hi Cathyann,
Thank you for the supportive words regarding the show! When I first started my own business one of my biggest fears as a single mother of four was that I wouldn’t have all of the skills necessary to launch and maintain a successful business. I did have the advantage of working as one of the top 5 consultants for a similar company for 10 years prior to creating Pure Romance.

The turning point for me took place after I spoke with a successful business man I knew at the time; he gave me some reassuring advice that I continue to live by to this day. He told me to surround myself with strong people and that no one did it all when it came to being a successful business owner. As you build your business keep this in mind and choose your team wisely!

Thank you for the kind words and best of luck!
